Jackson: Bynum to Get Start at Center

EL SEGUNDO - After two days of full-contact practices, Lakers coach Phil Jackson decided Andrew Bynum was sound enough to return to his role as a starting center. It's unknown how many minutes the 7-footer might play today in his first game in almost a month.

"He looked good," Jackson said Saturday of Bynum, who sat out the final 13 games of the regular season because of a strained left Achilles tendon. "I hope we can get a good eight-minute run out of him to start the game. We'll see how it goes from there."
