Lambs Tails Can Shake Up the Landscape

Summary


If you happen to visit Israel, you may wish to include a stop at the Jerusalem Botanical Gardens. Here, you will see many plants that you have never seen before and that will take your breath away. You may want to consider some of them for your Valley garden since the climates of Los Angeles and Jerusalem are roughly the same.

At this moment, a surreal planting of lambs tails (Ptilotus exaltata 'Joey') highlights the ogling options at the Gardens. Most of the lambs tails, which are no more than 18 inches tall, are not in bloom. However, in my humble opinion, those that are not blooming are just as intriguing, and perhaps more so, than those that are flowering.
