PASADENA - This city's other parade - the Occasional Doo Dah Parade - moved east to Lamanda Park on Saturday after organizers decided the bohemian, anarchic celebration needed a change of scenery to bring in a younger crowd and shake up its routine.

The ploy worked and it attracted fresh performances from underground artists - exactly the kind of acts that Doo Dah organizers want to showcase, said Tom Coston, director of the Light Bringer project, the nonprofit that runs the parade.
