Deputy Chief Michel Moore - the San Fernando Valley's top cop - and two other LAPD veterans were named Tuesday as finalists to become the next police chief and carry on William Bratton's legacy of reform.
Moore, 49, commanding officer of the Valley Bureau, joined Assistant Chief Jim McDonnell, 50, and Deputy Chief Charles L. Beck, 56, as the three finalists recommended by the Police Commission to Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa.See the full content of this document
