VALENCIA - In an all-star football showcase featuring so many talented participants, it was only fitting the game came down to the end.

The West nearly overcame a 14-point deficit over the final three minutes, scoring two late touchdowns, including a 5-yard run by Oxnard's Terrell Watson with 1:19 remaining to pull within a point, but the East's Luke Reynolds of Hollywood broke up a pass on a two- point conversion attempt to seal a 21-20 victory for the East on Sunday in front of a crowd of about 4,500 in the 15th annual Daily News East-West All-Star Game at College of the Canyons.
